“As the primary source for legislation regarding the Uniformed Services is carried out by the individual Services and the Reserve Components are only a piece of that effort, ROA stands alone as the sole advocate for the Reserve Components of All the Services and members of All Ranks.
I am very proud to be a participant in that significant effort.”
Describe how ROA has benefitted you in your military career.
“Where else can a member of the Reserve Components meet and learn directly from National and Service Leadership. As one who has personally met with Presidents Regan to Bush at ROA events and numerous Commandants, Chiefs of Staff, and their respective Directors of the Reserves, I feel privileged to have had that insider awareness in making career decisions. That access even led to a tour with the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff (pictured above) during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Such an opportunity would not have been possible without ROA opening the door.”
