National Historian
President-elect Peggy Wilmoth is seeking a passionate ROA member to step into the vital role of National Historian—a volunteer position beginning in October 2025. This is a unique opportunity to preserve and document ROA’s rich legacy and its powerful impact on key legislative and Department of Defense policies in support of our Chartered mission: to support the national defense.
ROA’s long and storied history deserves to be told, ensuring future generations understand its influence and achievements. The National Historian position has been vacant for too long, and as we reflected on ROA’s 100th Anniversary in 2022, the urgent need to fill this role became clear.
